GALLUS – life is bliss – album review
Full of Glasgow grit and a rebellious spirit, punk rockers Gallus have made their mark in recent years with relentless touring and a well-received debut album.
Now with their sophomore record, ‘Life Is Bliss’ the band are ready to emerge as an undeniable force in this chaotic world that we live in. An album which embraces the chaos and tries to make sense of it with reflective and probing lyricism and a healthy dose of playfulness.
At its core this is an album trying to reckon with the senselessness of it all and looking for ways to survive the apocalyptic nature of modern life. It is deep rooted in love for their hometown and frustration at the lack of care and respect it has received in recent years.
