110 Above Festival reveals first 2022 acts

Welcome to another edition of our News Report. The Christmas announcement rush may be over but we still have some top music news for you in this festive edition.

Up first, a festival announcement for 2022 from 110 Above. The festival will take place the 11th to 14th of August next summer in Leicestershire.

The first wave of acts for the event includes Everything Everything, Vistas, The Sherlocks, Spector, Pixey and Sarpa Salpa.

Paul Weller reveals huge outdoor shows

News Report

The Modfather himself Paul Weller has this week revealed three huge outdoor shows for next summer. Weller will be playing shows in Kent, Lincolnshire and Bedfordshire.

Sam Fender set for Finsbury Park

News Report

Another huge outdoor show set to take place next summer will see Sam Fender headline Finsbury Park in London.

The show set for Friday 15th July will also feature Fontaines D.C., Declan McKenna and more.

2000trees Festival gets bigger!

Welcome to another weekly News Report from Full Pelt Music. We start this week with a handful of 2022 festival line-up announcements and first up is this beauty from 2000trees Festival.

Added to the event this week were the likes of Dream State, Tigercub, Ginger Wildheart, ROAM, Never Not Nothing and WITCH FEVER.

They join the already announced IDLES, Jimmy Eat World, The Amazons, Dinosaur Pile-Up, Young Guns, Royal Republic, Lonely The Brave, Crossfaith, Vukovi, Bob Vylan, Beans On Toast, Will Varley, Press To MECO, Lauran Hibberd, Haggard Cat and so many more.

Bearded Theory announce more acts for 2022 Festival

Some of the best UK Festivals are the smaller independent variety that can feature real strength and depth in their line-ups. Bearded Theory’s Spring Gathering was already looking packed, but this week they’ve added even more incredible acts!

New acts include Frank Turner & The Sleeping Souls, The Hives, Yonaka, Working Men’s Club, Billy Nomates, John, Do Nothing, Bob Vylan and Little Comets!

They join Placebo, The Flaming Lips, Patti Smith, The Mission, Shame, Peter Hook & The Light, Wilko Johnson, Ferocious Dog, Lauran Hibberd, The Ninth Wave, Nova Twins and more!

Boardmasters reveal 2022 line-up

Another festival revealing their 2022 line-up this week is Boardmasters. Headlining the surf and music event will be George Ezra, Disclosure and Kings of Leon!

They’ll be joined by the likes of Bastille, IDLES, Declan McKenna and Tom Grennan with hundreds more still to be announced.

BST add Eagles and Adele to 2022 bill

British Summer Time in Hyde Park has added two more superstar names to it’s 2022 bill this week. First it was announced Adele would perform two now sold out shows. It was then announced that the legendary Eagles will also perform the event.

They join already announced headliners Pearl Jam, Elton John and Duran Duran. Tickets for the shows are here.

Stereophonics to celebrate 20th anniversary of ‘Just Enough Education to Perform’

Our News Report moves onto tour announcements now and we start with a celebration from Stereophonics. The band will be playing some intimate ‘Just Enough Education to Perform’ shows to celebrate the albums 20th anniversary.

Reading & Leeds Festivals add 90 more bands and reveal stage splits

Reading & Leeds Festivals Lineups News Report

The August bank holiday weekend tradition that is Reading & Leeds Festivals just got a whole lot bigger. We start the News Report this week with news that the events have announced a further 90+ acts.

This year the events will feature two massive main stages and now the organisers have revealed the stage splits for each day. As has become the norm in recent years you can expect a pretty eclectic bill across the weekend with something for everyone.

Here are our picks for each day:

Friday will feature sets from main stage headliners Stormzy and Catfish and the Bottlemen plus Declan McKenna, Nothing But Thieves, Sam Fender, Sports Team, Demob Happy, Gallows, Boston Manor, Yonaka, Nova Twins and Wargasm.

Saturday will see performances from main stage headliners Post Malone and Disclosure plus The Wombats, Slowthai, I Don’t Know How But They Found Me, Fever 333, Creeper, Ho99o9, Cleopatrick and Bob Vylan.

Finally, closing out the Sunday will be main stage headliners Liam Gallagher and Queens of the Stone Age plus Wolf Alice, The Hunna, The Struts, Yungblud, Machine Gun Kelly, Gerry Cinnamon, Neck Deep and Hot Milk.

Royal Blood announce huge 2022 UK Tour

Royal Blood will be taking over eight of the UK’s largest venues for a huge UK Tour in 2022. The huge dates, which include a stop at The O2 in London, go on sale Friday 7th May here.

However, those that pre-order their new album ‘Typhoons’ from here, will get pre-sale access from Wednesday 5th May!
